dreambox 7025 cable

my dreambox 7025 is running PLI jade 3 it is working fine on satellite, but i have just fitted a cable tuner but when i do a scan it picks up no cable channels. do i need to alter any settings in the cable tuner config. i am in the ex cable and wireless area ie manchester

You need to manually set up the scan settings for the C tuner.

Type of scan = single transponder
Frequency = (whatever your freq is)
Inversion = Auto
Symbol Rate =(06952 or 06887)
Modulation = 64-QAM
FEC = Auto
Network Scan = yes

If nothing is found on 666, try 000 too.

ok thanks guys got all channels scan in. but need need some more help only getting fta channels. i am running cccam 1 x sat tuner and 1 x cable tuner PLI jade 3 image

Just 666 only should be good enough for a scan.

What image are you running? CCcam will clear but WON'T au nag1......

Try Mg or Evo for AU

running PLI Jade 3 tried cccam and wont clear but got it working with mg but have to change cam back to cccam for satellite which is a bit of a pain

Run cccam, edit your SoftCam.Key, remove everything but the rom7's and change the id from 5401 to 5501 on each line.

Restart cccam.

deleted everything but rom7.bin and softcam.key from var/keys
deleted everything but rom7.bin from var/scce
still no clearing with cccam
does any need chmod

Sorry I should have been more clear, I meant remove all lines apart from rom7 ones from softcam.key. Everything I have written is for things to be edited in softcam, don't delete anything else

this is what i have in my softcam i have put x's in for the real keys but still no joy with cccam works fine if i use mg cam

Are you suing the rom7 from the november update?

I have the same box and using newnigma2 v2.5 and both sat&cab are working on cccam2.1.1newsccam1.67. go get latest satankeys and put the var/keys, var/scce in the box. If it doesn't clear, find latest sofcam.key by KM and rename it exactly as the softcam in var/keys and replace it. it should work.
