800hd scanning for channels

I have tried as above with no luck however i played around with the settings and was able to get 219 services using the settings below:

This is what i have done and i came up with 219 services.
manual scan
single transponder
freq 266
symbol 6952
inv auto
fec 3/4
Network No

I had 2 hd channels although none of them was showing as my mgcamd is still showing as 1.66. na so many of the channels werent showing either and then I played around with the settings again and now all the channels are gone again....

Can someome please advise me on how to remove the existing channels (chinese), I have selected the option to clear before scanning but they are still there.

push up, then menu then there should be an option to delete the bouquet

Updates I have just Scanned again using the settings below and I found 364 services The Most I have found so far!!!! but when i got back to the channel listing, all the services that were found werent there, like S*k sport 1 etc, it picked up all the hd channesl when scanning however when it got to the list only fx mtvn and espn were listed and none of them were viewable as all the other premium channels. I could only see freeview channels. The only problem i have now is the mgcarmd if someone can help me to get it to work.

ok, you have fpund the channels. the ones you are missing need to be added manually by using their frequency. as for only viewing fta. follow the earlier instructions to ftp the roms and k*ys.

for scanning you could also grab the cables.xml in the download section and put it in the dreambox. Its fast scan so you can just sleect your town and it will scan the correct fews etc to get all channels.

As for only viewing free channels you need to ftp the roms files which decrypt the channels for you and all will be viewible.

Thanks man, I have sorted all the channels and everything works fine now. I want to do a backup (nfi file) to a usb drive, I have connected the drive and its mounted but it cannot see it. How can I go about doing this?

Got it m8, it was only for subscribers earlier. Where exactly did you find mgcamd 1.31? I am using Gemini 4.5 and it the only plugin is CCcam info. and in the blue panel there is only camd:common interface.

I can't see mgcamd in the dowloads the search brings up images containing it. Am I missing something silly here, not to clued up on dreambox.

I installed 4.5 myself earlier but couldnt get the 1.31 to download in the blue panel.

The bonsey image was the first image I flashed and kept getting the err 01 no CA found and it was taking 60 mins to reflash. 3 days (15 hours of reading, searching and farting about) later I'm nearly there getting FTA channels. The only thing I think I'm missing is mgcamd.
