800hd scanning for channels

The bonsey image was the first image I flashed and kept getting the err 01 no CA found and it was taking 60 mins to reflash. 3 days (15 hours of reading, searching and farting about) later I'm nearly there getting FTA channels. The only thing I think I'm missing is mgcamd.

the reason you had the no carr error was due to your bootloader (second stage) I had exactly the same problem, I can upload the bootloader, it take les than a minute to flash, Like i said, i can upload the camd files but no idea how to install, I searched and read for over 2 weeks before i could fix mine.

It would be good if you could upload camd m8. By second stage bootloader do you mean the flash in dreamup 1.3.3.3? Should I have flashed the backup and then loaded the dreamup flash?

The best thing for you to do is to flash the backup then, proceed to flash the Bootloader which takes less than a minute and you are sorted.

uploading as we speak. You might also need the dream edit software, very good to sort out your channel listing and bouquet.

Happens as you have flashed an image into the box. Or could happened as bootloader has become courpted.

Just flash using dreamup a new bootloader, fixed

Got this working using your image and rescanned channels. The one problem I have is that the channels cut out every couple of minutes saying service unavailable, check tuner configuration. The coming up DVB service NA along the bar at the bottom of the screen where the channel info appears? When I go back into the channel list and select the channel it comes back on again for a few secs and then back through the cycle? Anyone any ideas?

I have gott my DM 800hd which have DVB-C tuner. I live in London and I dont know what type of cable needs to be connected?

I have virgin media cable is this cable do I need to connect to my dm or I need TV aerial cable to connect to my dm?

Please help I have tried to connect virgin media cable to my dm and try to scann no channels comes up.

I have Pli image installed and have tried to put cable.xml still no luck.

Please help me how to connect my dm800 hd pvr with DVB-C and what type och cable I need to connect and how do I get channels.
