It almost certainly means that is not the frequency for a transponder in your area. Or you have the wrong Symbol rate.
Where did you get it from, the Eurovox? How did you enter that code (131.00) in manual transponder scan on the dreambox? There are no fractional points. Just a five digit box. Did you try 00131 and 13100 ?
Try ticking the INV setting if not set. (Another bug in Enigma, this setting should always be displayed as set on UK cable!)

If the Eurovox works when connected to the same cable at the same point and definitely gives a picture it is more likely you are misreading the frequency & symbol rate on the Eurovox or entering it wrong on the dreambox.Last edited by alexh; 14 November, 2009, 17:58.Comment

An amplifier is unlikely to do you any good if the Eurovox works fine on the same connection.
Did you use the same symbol rate as shown on the Eurovox?
Check the BER (Bit error rate) if it is very very high, and there is no SYNC or LOCK then there is nothing being broadcast on that frequency!

See? This shows in my region there is nothing broadcast on this frequency.
All I can think of is that there is a conversion which must be made when going from Eurovox frequency to Dreambox?Last edited by alexh; 14 November, 2009, 20:46.Comment

Ask questions about converting frequency displayed on Eurovox to a number you can use on a Dreambox manual scan.
I don't have a Eurovox and I've never seen the EPG showing the frequency & symbol rate so I cannot advise.
Perhaps you can export your channel listings / bouquets from Eurovox to a Dreambox using a utility which will do the conversion?Last edited by alexh; 14 November, 2009, 20:50.Comment
