DM800 Pulling my hair out setting up this box!

Really struggling with this box. I've managed to get everything setup but for some reason the channels just won't clear. I have no idea what I am doing wrong. I have been on this forum searching for literally 4 hours and I am none the wiser. I have downloaded countless "Dreambox_Files" to try and nothing is working.

Ok here goes. I am using the black hole Nabilosat image. I have a DM800c box and everything is working other than the premium. I have downloaded & installed MGcam, evocam, cccam (or something like that), and another one that i can't remember via the addons menu. I have tried removing all plugins then starting from scratch. I have removed the scce & keys folder, replaced them with my own files and then re-installed the cams. I'm getting nowhere.

I read that there is an image with the works on it, i'm also struggling to find this. Is it in the downloads area? I'm usually pretty handy at finding things for myself but I'm completely lost here. I HAVE searched my arse off, honestly. Most of the threads that come up with a search are over a year old and don't help me with current problems.

    Can anyone help?

Oh, I did CHMOD everything in the scce and keys folder to 755 just in case that was the problem. It wasn't

Ahh thats the link I was after. Yeah FTA is fine, as is recording and the free HD channels. Everything is perfect other than premium.

The image I am using at the moment is BL70, would the BL72 not ~~~~ the boot?

            Cheers

When did you buy your dreambox and who from? as long as its a recent clone it will support BL72.

Ahh I'm not a premium user with rapidshare anyway so I can't get the image. 10 downloads have been taken already.

Just got it today bud. If I can get the image I will give it a go. I got it from DVBSeller so I'm guessing their turnaround is fast enough.

                  Cheers

                    Hi Mate,
if you check the product desribtion on there it should give you a chance to see the max BL possible it should be BL72, also if you need the other link i'll post it here.

I already junked it by jumping in feet first earlier. Not worried about getting the BL error as I got round it easy enough

If you could post the link for me or shove me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

                      Thanks

Just tried a 72 image and it is freezing during boot up. Its getting past the initial boot, the image comes up on the screen etc, but the little line freezes about 1/5th of the way along. Its not moved for ages so it doesn't look good for 72

Scratch that, re-booted with the DVI out and it booted fine.

I'm getting nowhere. Could someone help me out please?

I just downloaded the Gemini Image from the downloads area. I flashed it, did a scan to find all channels, downloaded and installed MGCAM1.31 and then copied over the scce & keys folders from the "dreambox files" rar download. I then used FlashFXP to CHmod everything in both folders (to make sure I didn't miss anything) to 755. I then selected & restarted the CAM.

Can someone tell me how to force a keyroll? I've got the channels up and running but I did it by using the keys etc from my dm500c. I'm not so sure that the cam will update them if they roll so I want to fake a roll.

                            Thanks

what folder did you pu them in?

                              try this
                              1. ftp to var/ and delete the keys and scce files
                              2. then go in to usr/ delete any keys and scce file there as well
                              3. then ftp back to /usr/ and put your working keys and scce files in there

                              4. reboot and restart the cam

for auto foll you need to change one of the files camd_cfg

look for these lines and make sure they are the sam

                              # AU
                              # 00 is ignored (default)
                              # 01 enable AU
                              # 02 AU Auto
                              A: { 02 }
