struggling to get this to pass the network test, had it all working perfectly apart from the epg, i just had to mess with it

Have you checked your network configuration. That's where I would start.

yes

if i hav dhcp enabled then the ip is unconfirmed, as is the nameserver, if i disable that it still won't connect, never had this issue previously. i cant get the files sorted til the network is so obviously right now, no channels.

if anyone would be prepared to help me say over msn, it would be much appreciated.

right finally got the network to work, had to set static dhcp on my router, never had to do that previously, oh well. stil not getting channels to clear with evocamd tho same problem as last time

Is this safe on cloned DM boxes such as the eagle, Dm500 and OM500cs?

or will it brick them boxes.

ok got the channels loaded but only through mgcamd, evocamd is not working in this, now for the epg, as long as mgcamd doesnt freeze i dont mind leaving it, this is running fairly slow for me so far have to say, maybe itl get quicker though.

gezz, you said you were ex tw, so am i, i wonder if your file would help me? if you dont mind

ok doin better now have the channels working, set up network, still getting it to mount as before but il work on that, probably just me not gettin the directory structure right. hints would be welcome on this.

question on the epg though, the channels on radio times are numbered differently to mine, does this matter?

use mgccam will clear channels if you have put rom and keys files into respective folders.

for those, like myself that were having the problem with mgcamd freezing and evocamd not working, so far, only done it today, the mgcamd does not freeze on this. evocamd still will not clear though.

i have the channels working ok, still to figure out getting the network to mount to pc and my epg so far is only 1 day.

Try this evocamd file and check you set the file permissions correctly for all the files it uses.
