        Hi mate,

Just tried it again, and again it says 'INVALID IMAGE'. Definitely using the web browser (IE8). I even tried DreamUp but same issue.

        Any ideas greatly appreciated.

        Cheers

        Jas

            Hi,

Thanks anyway mate. I tried to use the image the you uploaded a while back (from http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...99/index3.html) and I've got a bit further. Will try and persevere with that.

            Cheers again

Bonesy, If I extract the HDD.rar file from this new image and follow the instruction on your previous 4.4 image which am using, do you think I ll be able to get this to work or does it has to be a fresh Flash. I do not want to start all over unless its absolutely necessary.
              Regards.

has to be fresh flash as the image has files edited in it to enable the longer epg, etc..

should say when booting up, look for number 69,70,72,74 which is the bootloader.

Yes, you can use any image you want on dm800. As long as your have a bl75 file. You can flash an image for bl69,72 etc...then after you have flashed those images onto the unit and you see the stop message. Use null modem cable and dreambox to flash the correct BL file onto the unit. then rebott and it will be fixed
