you know if you buy from these guys or anyone else whos in china, and if it gets lost or damaged, would you be covered fully?, ive read few sites T+C's and they say no returns etc or its youre responsibilty to sort it out with transit company etc, im sure i have.

edit: also forgot to ask about the 600 from peng/china, can you swap tuners like originals and also add HDD's etc and has anyone bought a 600 from him before, (any feedback would be good)

I suppose that is the difference from buying it from china and uk supplier.. china wont take full responsibility but uk guys have to.

i cant speak for peng but dvb seller doesnt have interchangeable tuners and the hdd will have to be bought seperately.
Youd be better of with an itgate tgm220 mate,interchangeable tuners and external hdd option for recording.Great box imo.
For the extra few quid its worth it.

its a good question if there are problems,was reading someone had an ems parcel lost here,although not related to this by parcel force here they admitted it and wouldnt pay compensation refered back to china they said it wasnt them and refered back to parcel force each blaming each other for compensation.
you might be better off with dhl but they have had problems with china being called a Bermuda triangle for parcels being lost and found some time later.
it is a risk but so is anything when ordering anything.should think warranty returns would be a real headache.

Yipee my clone just arrived from dvbmonkey and it's got a good screw (ftype) tuner and works well - it was also supplied with a UK power cable, instruction manual etc - only thing is you don't get batteries with the remote - but for ?62 (that includes postage) who's complaining.


All I can say is - I'll be ordering my stuff from here from now on as it's cheap, does the job, and is decent quality (it takes about a week to a week & a half to arrive though!).

out of curiosity I opened my mams 500c i recently got for Her from Peng to see what type of tuner is int it. Its the NXP tuner like in the other boxes mentioned

Just to let people know.. There is a delay in shipment from DVBMonkey in China.. for now its going out in HKPost but I've been told they have struck a deal with DHL and NO CUSTOM CHARGES

What image does Peng supply? I thought he sent them with standard DM FTA image? Thats what DVBMonkey ships them with.
