ordered my replacement box on 25/aug/08. FINALLY sent from hong kong 2/sept/08. i must admit im not that happy with this company after they promised to send it on weds. i will probo use another supplier next time, over a week to send a product is disgusting imho.

All items shipped from China at the moment is slow due to the games.. Irrelevant of who you order with. Doesnt matter if its Peng of dvbmonkey.com. All goods in and out or being over checked by china customs and as there were over a million visitors over the month, their customs must me dam busy... You cant blame Peng and dvbmonkey for slow delivery...

wont recomend them either ordered 5 on 11 aug ,expecting delivery tommoro, so much for good service i hope nothing turns out wrong otherwise wont bother contacting them to get a replacement in 1 year time :-)

I think its just the Olympic games that has been delaying things for all China suppliers. It has to get better.

No. Peng is not DVBMonkey but both have delays in China

I have had no delay in deliveries from china at all. I think you may being told delay due to games is because they either dont have stock to send or somthing else is wrong. But waiting over a week on it to be dispatched is just wrong. No good supplier would expect anyone to wait so long.

And no I didnt nor would I buy from Peng/dvbmonkey ever again.

Most likely these orders have been taken when there has been no stock on the shelf.
These boxes in china seem to be made in batches,at times peng has no stock and will then mail you when he gets stock.

I've ordered a few from both Peng and dvbmonkey and both have been super fast in the past but since the games the speed of delivery has slowed down.

Don't forget, the disabled Olympic games are still on and loads of holiday makes are still there.

mine finally arrived today, i must admit im impressed. my old 500 original has been on its last legs for about 3 months, this new box is identical other than the screw in tuner. the pic quality is BETTER than the original so there must be a stronger reciever.
just a shame they didnt tell me straight off it was gona be late!, other than that this box is perfect

I got mine yesterday (5th sept) & I ordered it on 18th August.

Apart from the delay it's a good box, I have not had any probelms with it at all as everything is working fine on it.

I work with a guy who,s friend lives on the border china/hong kong and he has recently said that they are having a big clamp down at the customs division so its a little harder to get anything over the border......so relax they will arrive

Somebody recommended Peng... i will also ordered the 29th of aug .... turned up on the 5th of sept..... excellent service.
