anyone actually have one of these that doesnt picture freeze after a day or 2 due to not auto rolling.

What cam are you using? Evocam 2.13 seems to work well on cable. -
Yeah I would have thought the only thing wrong here is the possible cam setup. Get that fixed and everything should be ok. I assume its just for the non FTA channels?
On a sidenote, what is the quality like on the DM800 for cable for both sd and hd (well BBC) channels? using the dvi to HDMI cable?Comment

never had any probs with mine should have made a back up but forgot and put a sat image back on it so it will be a while before i do it again , there is a new gemini image out at the min might fix some probs also how many cams have you tryed out gemini has a load of them in its server if not already i would try some till you get one that works as for picture i had mine going through sd for most of the times i had it running on cable i thought it was ok picture was better but even better through dviComment

is 2.13 not on there server as well if not im sure i seen a download for it on this site just ftp it overComment

unzip
open folder
then you will see a tar.bz2 file
ftp this to temp folder on dreambox
go to addons>manual install (if still the same location on dm800
)
then it should be in your cam list

I search the web and eventually found a key that worked and entered into the keylist, this was with evo 2.17, tried with 2.13 and got just a black screen
i know within a day or two the pic will freeze and im back to square 1

What you probably need to do is copy the 'special' AU files (I don't have a link) to var/keys and var/scce directory on your dm800 and than switch to S*y Sports 1 and restart Evocamd 2.13.Comment
