ok, so i tested it all but the sly sports was just showing a sign saying service could not be found. i also did not have epg for anything at all.(whats that all about)
so i decided to factory reset , now im getting all terrestial channels as well as epg for all channels.
i realise that the factory settings got rid of the magic files , so i'll transfer them over later.
the problem is i dont have a router at home, so i go around my mates to tranfer the files , which is very long winded

I finally got it working.
this is what i did . i did a factory reset on the box, scanned for all the channels using bruteforce. FTP'd all dB_magic_files over untouched, i left them at chmod 664.
went to sly sports 1 rebooted box, turned on evocamd 212 & voila.

just off topic as i reset to factory settings i take
it that this reset my password[ pin ] what is the default pin is it 0000
