    what am i doing wrong???

i flashed the image to my box, ftp'ed nagrarom7, 10 and 11.bin to var/keys (obtained from bigmac toolbar under Dbox fixes, am i using the right files?). done a normal scan, my areas not in the list.. and im picking up only fta channels (the 'only FTA' option when scanning is unchecked)

    am i missing something?

Ok about to update my DW image to this. I guess if I copy the content of Keys and SCCE and copy them into the Kaos image that will get it to work ?

All usual keys files go in /var/keys, except the .bin files. All .bin files go in /var/scce, i.e. nagrarom7.bin, nagraram7.bin, nagraepr7.bin.

            Download the files from here...

            RapidShare: Easy Filehosting

Copy the leys files to the keys folder and the scce files to the scce folder. Go to sky sports 1 and restart the box using the 'reboot now' option in the shutdown menu.

Should auto update and clear when the box reboots.

how can i add my area to the list for location scanning?

i have a dbox2 (running andromeda v2.0) set up which does have my area...

is it as simple as copying a file from my dbox over to my dreambox?

Copy the /share/tuxbox/cables.xml file to your PC, edit it with your additional data, save and copy it back to /var/tuxbox/config. Reboot and it should take effect.

Can you please post the info here so that I can update for the next release?

had a look at the file and my freq is down as 7 kings which is about 2 towns away from were i am (Walthamstow)... i done a scan using 7 kings and its worked... perhaps u could add another <cable> section, identical to 7 kings but with cable name="Walthamstow"..

I notice this is for the dm500 but will it work with either the dm600 or dm800?

nice IMG, just installed, copied files required, scaned fine.

The only problem is i'm seeing a hell of a lot of -> ! <- by the channels, as if its not scannig them?

Had a close looks a cable.xml file, it fine... so ?
