I'm assuming it UK cable you want to get working?

I found some files here that work...

    RapidShare: Easy Filehosting

Copy the contents of the keys folder to the keys folder on your box and the same with the scce folder. I'm not that clued up with the 7025 so hopefully someone else will clarify but I think the folders are /usr/keys and /usr/tuxbox/scce.

          Hi
Have you turned the evocamd emu on, by using the blue key on remote,? then right /left arrow to select emu when Common Interface (default) is showing. It will then default to evocamd. Heavy learning curve, ie lots more reading needed with linux LAN connected STB's

Ive found that 2.17 doesnt work. I prefer 2.12 or 2.13

Evocamd 2.17 requires an extra file for it to work...feynman.cfg.

Copy it to /usr/keys and restart the emu.

It's used more for satellite, never on cable, but the emu doesn't work if the file isn't there. Don't worry about any settings in it.

As satellite and cable companies improve their encryption, the emus need to be updated to cope with it. So with every new release of evocamd, mgcamd, cccamd, etc. more and more code is added to the binary. At the moment, we use Nagra1 which is years old and hacked to bits, every version of evocamd has this code in it. We don't need all the extra code that's been added to all the latest revisions, it only increases the file size and the risk of it being unstable. Evocamd 2.12 is very, very stable, doesn't freeze, doesn't hang up, doesn't need restart, it's perfect! Why use any other version!

Go to /usr/keys and create a file called newcamd-client.txt.

You don't need to put anything in it, just create it.

Go to sky sports 1 and restart the emu again, flick to sky sports 2 and then back to sky sports 1 and leave it for a few minutes, see how it goes.

                          <--Devilfish added 2 Minutes and 23 Seconds later...-->

If that doesn't work, have a read at this thread...

right back again just to keep you posted tried what you said but it did not work but it seemed to edge it a little closer in the right direction some channels clear with no sound some have sound but no picture some are just plain black screen

unfortunately i have to go away for weekend now and i was hoping to get this boxed off tonight but i live to fight another day ive looked at your advice and will follow zaf786 instructions when i get back hopefully this will sort it

by the way when they say ch mod 755 does that mean changing the attributes all to 755 if so that may be the problem

what is the significance of this and do i need to change everyone or just certain ones

thanks for taking time out to talk ive had much more joy on this forum than others in a very short space of time keep up the good work il keep you posted when i get back
