thought id add might be something or nothing

when i go into lt menu and start evocam it says it will start when scripts are done
when i go into emu info at bottom it says could not read file temp/ecm/info does this mean anything or am i barking up the wrong tree

might be nothing aswell although my keys and scce folders are set for permissions at 755 everything inside the folders is set at 644 is this correct it seems to me that something is getting bypassed which is why it wont work but what i havnt got a scooby doo

just to add to the last post ive been looking on the LT site they have a evocam 2.14 and a evocam 2.14 config file for the 7025 so im thinking i might give that a go cant do any harm can it

but b4 i start where do i put the evocam config file will i be able to manually install it like installing the cam or will i have to put it in a file if so which one thanks

Which version of evocamd are you running? v2.17 and above requires 2 additional files or it won't work; feynman.cfg and newcamd-client.txt. These files are used for cardsharing and not needed on cable but the emu won't run without them. They can be completely empty files, as long as they're in the /keys folder.

If you can download v2.14 then give that a go; v2.17 is overkill for what you want to use it on.

Also, if using evocamd, edit the camd_cfg file and make sure the 'AU: { 02 }' section is set to option { 02 }.

im gonna give it a whirl but i have a seperate cam config for evocam2.14 off the LT site where do i put it and is it best to delete my other evocam that i have running thanks

The only config file you need with cable is the camd_cfg file and the Keylist.txt file. So if you've got those already, don't bother with the config stuff. As I said eariler, if you're running 2.17 then you'll need the other 2 config files too.

Another way to see what the emu is doing is to start the emu while in telnet.

Is there a /script folder on your box anywhere? I'm not familiar with the 7025 so shooting blind here .

Look in the script folder and you might see a script for evocamd. Let's say for example the script folder is at /var/script and the script is called evocamd_em.sh.

Try this....

/var/script/evocamd_em.sh stop

/var/script/evocamd_em.sh start

You should see on the screen what it's doing and if there's any errors. Could give you a clue as to why it's not working. Bear in mind that the path and filename will probably be different.

just tried box again with 2.14 still no joy its as if the cam isnt even trying to work

il have a go at that telnet see if i can see whats going on il reply when im done might take a while as ive never used before

just looked in my image found scripts found emu ifo started it

come up with no ecm info found
no ecml info found
no emm info found
no pid info found

then at the end of that it says ecm:CAID:0X1800->CaPID:0x02E2 PROV ID :000000 ==

EXCECUTION FINISHED

so if that makes any sense feel free to drop me a line

try starting it on sky sports 1 then flick to sky sports 2, wait 5 secs then flick back to sky sports 1.

are you sure you have selected camd in the emu menu.?

try this if you havent already:

keys and roms go in:

/etc/tuxbox/scce/ and

/usr/keys/

cams

/usr/bin/


this is for my dm600 so give it a try .??
