how to install keys for 7025

anyways back to the business of my channels not clearing i have gemini 3.7 half working decrypyts quite a few with mgcam1.30 but i have lost my fta it also does not decrypt enough ie sky sports evocam 2.17 does not decrypt anything i dont know why

bbc itv channel 4 and five all black screen

but i also have LT the fifth on cf card it wont dcrypt any premium channels with mgcam but i can watch all the bbc 1 + 2 itv ch 4 and 5 i cant watch any on gemini anyone know why

on the gemini image is your
manual scan some thing like this

menu>setup>service searching>manual scan>tuner dvb-c

type of scan>single transponder

frequency>571 (think this is for teeside)

inversion>auto

symbol rate>6887

modulation>64 -qam

fec>auto

network scan>yes

then press ok to scan

this should work out exactly the same as what you got, but worth a try

I have been having exactly the same problem on my new 7025. I'm using Pli Jade and I could get Mgcamd to work but it stutters. Evocamd would not work at all. Following some of the advice given by devilfish I found a evocamd 2.17 file that constited of not just the bin file but of a script file so I could start it via telnet. Anyway to cut a long story short, I used a hex editor to look at the evocamd file that resides in the /usr/bin file and replaced every occurrence of /var/keys within that file to usr/keys. Bingo!

It's been working for the last 10 mins! Not a huge time I know but I thought I would put it out there!

This is the altered file. To clarify what I did, I'm using Pli Jade so downloaded the cam through the plugins feature. Sorted out the necessary with the you know what's then changed this file to what I've attached.

This file resides in /usr/bin/

The box starts and stops the cam no problem through the system settings menu. It has been rock solid since yesterday evening.

It is version 2.17. Pli Jade has working now and next in the info bar.

I have read your msg from beginning to the end. I understood what u are passing through, bcos same to me I have similar situation. I am a DB 7025+ user as well, but the truth is that only 5% of people are using DB 7025+ so meaning that less information on it and my concluded is that I will buy another DB 500 or DB 600, by using this I know I will get alot of informations.

are you using the keys and scce files from the radid share thats fine )
are you puting these in /usr/, not /var/
if so delete them from both and put them in usr/ then reboot the box

Hi just been reading through this and i have downloaded the same files and put them in var/ key and var /scce and also cant get anything more.... there is no usr/ that i can see to put them in? should i make this folder?

This is using Firefox FTP.
There's no var/keys folder just usr/keys..

Hi what image are you using mate normally there are folder var and usr on 7025 you need toput your files in usr not var

I've only got a dm7025 and that's all the folders it's got. That's usr/keys and usr/scee..
By the way I'm using Gemini 3.6
