      excellent. it's connected and can see it.

      what FTP Program do you have? or are you using dreamup?

        Now i'm really confussed!!!... i've just unconnected the dreambox from the router and pinged the same addy and i still get the same reply as above :S, it even still finds the same 2 ips in DCC :S??????

          hhmm... oh well!

          plug it back in, go into the enigma settings, untick DHCP, give it an IP of 192.168.0.120 and the gateway would be 192.168.0.1.

          Try that, save the settings and reboot the box (thru the menus)

          (i'm here for a little while so do it now, i'll hang on!!)

              have you tried pinging it? just to see if it's connected. 1 step at a time.

                    so, setting a static IP doesn't work and setting an IP with DHCP - doesn't work. and thats with the normal patch lead to the router?

                    i'm running out of options. i much prefer Neutrino based images, i use DW 2.1 - the network config is much more straight forward to use/understand

                      do you have that image with keys etc? i'm willing to give it a try. i have a null cable modem so it shouldn't b a prob thanks

                              tried that image twice m8 still no luck becoming a nightmare... i'll stick @ it tho until it annoys me to much :P
