Excuse me, I have questions to ask ...
lets say coming soon we will have a new channel in SH (HBO-Red channel ).
Do I need to do a transponder scan for new channel with DM500C first ?
And copy new freq, pid , sid to dreamboxedit ... Is that right ?

For me, i will just scan in the frequency and use dreamboxedit to recieve file from dreambox and then edit over there. is easier i feel.

i have nt yet try to scan before... cant really give u an answer
but i alway best to save the old services files before u do any scanning as once u re-scan everything will be not same, or maybe overwrite

or anyone can teach us how to do freq scanning? or full range scan?

ya.......... and arrange the way u want it to display in bouquet

but i recommend u to set ur channel name (e.g 012 XXX) like this so it more easy way to be displayed
