Belfast, all channels went off

on myfolder refers to the folder in the compressed file you download. I beleive I called it belfast?

Open dreambox edit , tell it to open the belfast folder and it will import all the channels etc...

Then tell dreamboxedit to flash it to you dreambox (of course you need to tell dreamboxedit your ftp details and have your dreambox connected to you pc via ethernet)

The reason I am asking this is that I am having trouble with setup as the pin given to me is incorrect and I am unaware how to reset it without messing uo the box, anyone any ideas?

no you shouldnt need it as long as you know the ip of your dreambox??
if you do, connect, send the files, and reboot.

Any ideas on How to find the IP address of the Dreambox?

Go to a command prompt on your PC.

Type ipconfig and look for the ip address of your PC.

It will almost certainly be something like this:

192.168.1.x

Your dreambox will be x+1 or possibly x+2 or 3 depending on how many other bits of kit you have.

Just trial and error it until you get the right one.

phew ok, found solution..guys, after you do a rescan, check your red button in bouquets..you will see ALL NEW channels in there which WORK!

Seems like they have changed the mapping on ALL channels...those pesky vermin!

This means need to rebuild all chanels bouquets, which Im going to begin doing, starting in 5mins and then upload here to DK for others to grab. NOTE: These bouquets will be for Northern Ireland only.

Did u get all the atatiopns back with the rescan. Premier and sky 1 dont seem to be working for me.

try a second scan using belfast-ntl area. that picked up sly 1 & other missing channels for me.

Has anyone else seen that when you go to "information" and look at an encrypted channels "stream info" its says coding systems used

That's definitely only showed up recently, as I check this every now and then.... so I guess the more obvious question here is - how longs these test phases last until cleared to switch over?...as thats when we're screwed for good

good luck mate let us know how it goes,best to read everything before attempting,if using dream up most peeps get stuck on not setting com port up properly
