          its a file which has the tuning info for channels in (the correct enigma = "services" / for neutrino its "services.xml" - you can use bouquetter to convert between the 2 formats its dead simple guide here > http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...a-services-36/ )

          if you can get hold of a service file for your area, copy it to
          enigma = /var/tuxbox/config/enigma
          neutrino = /var/tuxbox/config/zapit

          then

          Open web browser and paste the following command into the address bar:

          (replace x with the dreambox ip address)

          more detailed information is here

              Sly 1

              The frequency for sly 1 in the plymouth area is 843000 for a manual scan

                yeah the biggest problem seems that if you have a old tuner in the dreambox - no matter how many manual / auto / full scans are done it just refuses to pick up sly1 and a couple of other channels

                  not technical but I would agree, I just can't get the discovery channels working. I think I just need a signal booster.

                      Can you change the tuner in a dreambox? This might be an excuse for me to buy a new box

                        yes but its much easier and almost just as cheap to buy a new box. your problem looks like it would be solved by a booster.

                          discovery isnt working as in you cant find them in the channel list after a scan? or as in they are there but black?

                          If its the first of those 2, just try and find someone in your area who can give you a "services" file and you might find it all works - thats how my sly channels were fixed
