500c Problems

Was it working when you got it yesterday and stopped when you did factory reset?

I could see all the channels when it arrived, but after watching for awhile, it started having a little glitch kinda thing, the screen starts jumping, than it went blackout, i can still hear the sounds, but no picture.

Yes.. You can do so but you need to get connected to dreamup first.

To backup the working box & use the backup image to flash the box.

In the first place, if your box can only sea FTA channel thats means your key are not up-to-date so even if you reflash sucessfully, you are only able to view FTA channels only.

I could watch all the channels, but suddenly, it started flashing and the picture goes blank and i can only hear the sounds. than i went to do a factory reset, and i accidentally clicked on ENIGMA reload, now when i on the box, it gets stuck at PLI -JADE GREEN page and keeps flashing. So i'm lost!
I bought a usb-serial connecter, and than i read here that it cannot work. So i will go change to a serial-serial connecter.
Also, how do you actually do a transfer of image?

why didnt you say u was in a different country some one might be able to help now, if possible, we are a uk based forum m8.

3) Plug in the power or switch on the power
4) Click on backup (to backup) or flash (to flash) box

Oops, i bought this set from d****inthebox, so it says there it's for s*****pore. I thought 500C is only for us. But anyway thank you for helping, i will try starting with my null cable serial.

Either hardware problem or the cable you are using is leaking signal.

But to what I know, box from dreamintheb0x always have hardware issue.

Mine's connected through a male cable to my wall socket.
Not throught the scart, so it's quite funny. i ordered 4 sets, only 2 sets happened to be like that.
