    You could be using a poor quality cable from point to box or there could be some signal leakage.

    If the wall point have been alter or relocate before, the cable used could also be an issue.

    If on the information screen, the 02 %%% (top & bottom) keep going up & down then there are signal leakage for sure.

      i have similar problem on my 500C .... in S*******E...

      Able to see the channel listings... but message "no data for this service available"

            According to your message mentioned "no data for this service available". Sound like a hardware issue, but you may check your cable connection first.

              tested the set at another location...working fine....

              still getting "no data for this service available"...

                As Arraysys said earlier problem is cable connection Check if it
                has been disconnected somewhere internally or externally
