If the ftp password has been changed, the only way is to reflash yr box but u will lose all the settings.

If u do a reflash, the box will reset to the default password and u will lose all yr settings thus making it an fta box.

There is no way u can reset the setup pin unless u r able to ftp to yr box. Reflashing is yr only solution but u will lose all settings and only fta channels will be viewable.

If all the login in attempts fail and you dont have the password. Use dreamup to flash the dreambox. Every thing will be reset to default. Follow procedure given at :
http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...ox-dreamup-33/ to reflash. There is no other choice.

Can I ask one last question please. I got my box over a year ago and the supplier, well God knows where he is. I current;y view the major UK satellite channels - if I was to flash the box using the dreamup guide, will my channels disappear?

No I dont think so
You got to seek help from experts in your area. I am only familiar with images for Singapore.
Over here we need the key and rom files to be able to watch all those encrypted channels.
