first of all check ip address on dreambox 192.168.0.200 then on your pc go to start -control panel - network connections - double click local area connection - click properties - scroll down to internet protocol tcp/ip double click -click use the following ip address and put in 192.168.0.1 then 255.255.255.0 then 192.168.0.200 ok it and come out. connect crossover cable to pc and dreambox' plug in the power to dreambox.then on flashfxp press the lightening bolt and hay presto!!! this is exactly what i do and it always works!!!! ps. make sure that the ethernet connection on the dream box is clean a good blow ( ha ha ha ) should do it as a dirty connection can effect it. you should get 2 little green or orange lights inside the box light up if you look carefully.
