Just flashed my box with this image and it works really well I took a little while for the K**s to update but now it is running fine.

dont think commmando 10 works on all channels....

I did a Cable UK full scan and this seems to of sorted the channel issue all mine have opened up now may be this will fix yours..

i get some epg just ant see whats on l8r etc.

ok just flashed it over...dun the necessaries and really gr8 img.

picture quality - superb
luv the ok button feature...
like the sys info...performance etc
channel change fast with all channels clearing immediately using evo & 001A on sagem 2
epg populated really quick and fully....
tried the change of boot logo - worked but couldn't see what the change is to and how many logos there are...but no prob.
haven't used commando for a while, glad it's a jffs. but forgot about that trigger click - frightened the shite out of me - forgot how to turn it off.....is there a way in the commands?
also pressing remote off button only switches to stand-by mode and not off even when holding the button down.....seen this on a few recent imgs but can shutdown thru menu so not a major prob....

the EPG filter needs setting up seems a crucial bit of info was not posted from the original release thread

in the mean time if you cant work out the epgfilter in /var/tuxbox/zapit

upload this sectionsd to /bin overwriting the one in there ,ensure its chmodd 755

just noticed 1 thing i've seen on another recently released img....must be the cvs....even though the epg is ok using red/green......on the info bar it only shows now/next....trying to scroll down further just shows epg not loaded

Can't wait to see the program images/icons - look good on the Lincsat image, but seem to have a lot of problems with that one. Cheers for this

EPG is great if you just spend 10 minutes setting it up.

In this new version of the epgfilter you need to setup the channels that you want to get full epg info for. I expect for most people this will be around 100 channels. (The old version of epgfilter you would setup channels you didn't wanted full epg data for)

There are full instructions within the epgfilter.xml file - however all you need to do is:

Using a text editor (suggest metapad) open bouquet.xml and find first channel you want full epg data for and copy the whole line over to epgfilter.xml. Do this for every channel that you want to get full epg for. Then reboot the box. Once rebooted selct the pvr_epg channel for about 10 minutes and you will have full epg.

There are timers setup in C10 to switch to the epg channel overnight to download full epg data. Update these timers if necessary.

strange getting a ping after restart but not connecting with FLASHFXP...??....
IS this new commando image a free to air image only?...

Have you disable anti Virus and firewall off and setup the network card link speed value to 10Mbs/Full Duplex. Plus the IP address range should much with pc and D-box.
