Good point nothing directed at T C but since the keys are not allowed anymore and other files needed ect ..... poor old joe public will turn to fleebay scum selling it, asfor some its easy and other impossible to get this image working.
Now after 4 hours I have the image working, do you think I should upload the working image and link it or just say who ever wants the working image pm me, might stop some going to fleebay

poor old joe public dont need to turn to ebay if they willing to learn a little . from experiance people who have learned networking ftp and telnet to a dbox seem to go a little further to try and give somthing back to the community.

personally my dbox is a hobbie its not there or used for free tv. so for example why should the image creators name and system tags be associated with somthing illegal , why should they face prosicution for mr joe public to get free tv ?

if its fta there is no law broken if you want to make it otherwize this is your choice.

The best way to put out an image is free to air as has been happening.anyone that wants any other channels should at least work a bit to learn how to do it.All the files are around if people can be bothered to look for them, all the necessary info as to where to put them is also freely available.The peeps that join straight away after something big on the keyrolls happens and ask straight away where are the files and how do i do it in my opinion dont deserve any answers .Im no expert and i do struggle on some parts that i cant get my head around,but it took me 20 minutes last night to flash C10 and put the right stuff in for it to work.At the end of the day people write these images not for profit but as a hobby .people should get off there arses and try to learn something if they want their telly on and it would save em a few quid aswell.

Just heard of the new image but does it have fast scan option for chorus cork on symbol rate 6875.
If it does ye're an unbelievable bunch of lads but if not is the bruteforce ireland scan included?

then you'll need to enable autoupdate mate,
set it to {02} by tuxbox commander in the camd.config file under the AU heading if my memory serves me right.

I know I may get slated but I have looked.

I have never flashed my box ever. I have a dbox2 with sportster 1.7 all channels work i get commentary which is a pain.

Do i ftp in and delete/copy all my files to the pc, then copy the unpacked files and copy them to the dbox2.

then run a scan?

you can ftp your new image into the temp folder on dbox, then flash from temp folder on dbox using remote. then copy over the rom, AU files etc.

I am well aware of who released the fix and admire his work but I like lots of other people find it hard to absorb the info needed to do the dbox2 but I try.
Now what are we to do keep telling the not so bright peeps "LOOK, READ TRY YOURSELF FFS" when its obvious they are trying but just don't understand enough to do it, or do we help as much as we can, even if it means sending them a working image.
I think the later as it will keep them away from the scumbags who charge for the working image.
I have now got the commando 10 image working only took me 7 hours LOL, I will send to anyone who asks just to keep them away from the traders, hell for all I know it could well be a trader asking, as long as I help a few I don't really care m8

I've just put commando 10 on my box. I backed up my key and emu folders and my bouquet and service files first, and put them all back after the new image was flashed.
On my old image I was using Gbox, as I have a Sagem box that doesn't like evocam etc.
I have now got everything working on evocam, apart from chirping and freezing problems, and I can't seem so get a picture when I select Gbox.
Could anyone give me any clues how I can get Gbox working with this image?
