    Depressed Dbox owner

    hi is there anybody here that can help i have a nokia dbox2 running sportster image and like everybody else i have lost all the channels bar freeview, i have been on other forums and they say about changing the keys but my setup will not allow me to do that so i was hoping to find a new image for the manchester area. thanks

    if you can ftp to your box you wont need a new image. take a look at the link in my signature below the second one, it will give you an idea as to whats required, basically all you need to do is add a new file to the box using your dbox and your pc. note though that the user name and password will not be the same as in that thread, they should be root and dbox2


    check it out now and see how you go.

    right ive seen too many people thinking that they need to add a new image, nothing is further from the truth, you only need to add the new fix file to your old image. now im presuming that some people might find the idea of flash fxp (ftp) a bit daunting if they have not used it before so heres a little help. this is based

      If you can ftp to the box, this will help you.

      Ok guys and gals...I know some of you are still having problems with the auto updating of your keys. You will need to be comfortable with ftp'ing files to your dreambox for this to work. Delete everything in your /keys folder. Extract the /keys folder from the rar. Copy the contents of this keys folder to your own keys
