using commando only get FTA channels

hi, i solved my problem (only getting fta channels) basically the firmware didnt like my cam so (evocamd) so i disabled that and added another and the channels started working (i clicked onto a random channel that wouldnt load then restarted the new cam ... did this for two or three channels then they all popped up) hope this info helps somone. also thought id add that i upgraded frm sportster 1.7

Hi Guys,

I've flashed the image, uploaded the keys to the correct sections. i'm just lost at the cam and evocam bit. I know that I am close to completing this, but just need some help with the final bit to remove that damn black screen....LOL

Any help would be truly appreciated. Please PM me the finals stretch, or point in the correct direction.

Ftp the cam to var/bin/emu, and chmod it to 755, reboot box,job done

I found with the commando images you have to leave it on s** sports 1 for about 20min for the cams/keys to work.

Thanks for your advice, I decided to use the laky pro image, it's brilliant.

Good news is I know how to ftp/telnet and have some unix skills yahhhhay!
Do I also need then an ip address setting in my network tcp etc - if so what should I use?

That's strange- mine only ever takes 15-20 seconds, including evocamd creating it's own Keylist.txt

hi, i have flashed new commando image,howver i am getting only FTA channels,its seems like i have lost keys and emus while ftping,when i tryed to scan there is no net id and frequency does anybody know,i live in sunderland

I think its each to its own
With the kick in time of the Keylist text change
Some clear in seconds
Some take Up to 3 mins for me .................Paul
