BOX SEMED TO FLASH WITH THE ENGLISH IFA FROM DOWNLOAD AREA (ALTHOUGH WHEN I OPENED THE IFA AN ERROR MESSAGE CAME UP)
PLUGGED BOX BACK INTO TV & CONNECTED EVERYTHING UP, SWITCHED ON, COMMANDO 10 IMAGE CAME ON TV, THEN BLANK SCREEN WITH FLASHING CURSER, NOTHING ELSE
WHAT AM I DOING WRONG????????????

error code was something about validation. but any way the box now boots up with commando 10 image on telly. It says no channels found, I have set the area & re-booted, gone to service scan & when I try to do a scan I get the following message
transponder scan failed.

I have checked what readings I am getting and they are as follows.

BER / SNR / SIG / BITRATE
262143 / 64800 / 61808 / 0

100000 / 29944 / 61640 / 0

SOME THING TELLS ME THE PROBLEM IS WITH THE BITRATE, ANY HELP PLEASE.

Are all the connections ok m8 ? Take any splitter out and have a direct feed right into the box. Make sure thee are no loose connections.

RIGHT BACK TO ORIGINAL SPLITTER (MODEM / T.V) MY OTHER BOX WORKS NO PROBLEMS AT THIS POINT.

SHOULD I TRY FLASH AGAIN, AT THE END OF THE FLASH I GOT FERTIG MESSAGE AGAIN????

It sounds like it did not flash properly.
What did the error message say?
Try and flash again it will say on the lcd flash finished when it is complete it can take 5 to 10mins

m8 why dont you try another image. I use Lakys silas and it's an excellent image. Do no harm to try a different image.

So you have another dbox?
If so why don't you back up that image then transfer to this box

how do i make sure fire wall is off

If you have windows firewall go to control panel......Windows firewall........Turn firewall on or off.
If you have another firewall look forthe option to turn it off.

set up ifa with all connections plug in dbox, the dbox shows in the panel, but it will not connect, get message about trying 10 times.

start IFA then turn dbox on. if the led doesn't say flashing, switch box off and then on, try this a few times m8. It very rarely works first time

Re-flashed box with laky image, re-flashed o.k, set area, went to service scan. got following error message,
"transponder scan failed"

only getting a reading of 5 on ber
snr, sig & bitrate all 0

Could the tuner that has been replaced be faulty, not replaced properly or damaged during replacing????

This is possible m8 if all your connections are good and there are no loose connections from the feed into your house into your box.
