Can anyone tell me how to chmod evocamd please I must be doing it wrong.

I have no problem with my FTP is working perfect with the C11 image.

    Cheers Guys.

Go to /var/bin/emu folder on your Dbox. Right click evocamd and select attributes, manually change chmod to 755.

Not sure what you mean by "can't select Ipswich"? OK, there are around 21 lines in SML that are fubarred with a spurious comma ahead of the real comma in front of the ,smlops string- removing the 'spare' comma gets that entry working properly.

But Ipswich isn't affected by this schoolboy syntax error. Try entering the data manually in the Scan Menu:

              NetID: 00011 Freq: 755000 SymRate: 6887

Save- then Fast Scan! Cheers- AL

The only file that you chmod is evocamd after tramsfering it to var/bin/emu right click on it in the ftp program your are using and choose chmod/attributes and change the value to 755 and click ok then reboot the box.

Satsmo you are a star M8 all sorted and running perfect.
I wasn't sure if I was chmoding the evocamd correctly, but when you mentioned emu in the bin folder I couldn't find anything in it it was empty so I had to do some work and then voila all went well.

Thank you so much Dbox Professor.

                                You are just about there.

Open folder var=> Open folder bin=> and finally Open folder emu.
OK now you will see evocamd
all you have to do is right mouse click on evocamd a little window will open in the bottom of that wind you will see (change permission or chmod) then click on it with right mouse button and a window will open you will see a white box with 3 digits it could be 664 or 775 or what ever may be now highlight the 3 numbers with your mouse and type 755 click on OK and close the window.
Connect your dbox to your tele go to Sly Sport 1 waite for seconds and please let us know what is the results as soon as you can.
                                GOOD LUCK : Salami.
