Commando 11.3.07 - a tasty Upgrade!!

What area are you in? And can we assume you're running the default 'Enhanced VM EPG' mode? Are you saying that you're getting no EPG at all on more than half the channels- not even Now 'n Next EPG? AL

i get like some channel with EPG, after a bit of time and waiting, ive discovered that it seems to show them all after the next program change on some,, for example, if i put the box on during Eastenders it wouldnt show an epg for BBC1 but then when Holby comes on it will show it *oh the shame*

Im in Gateshead by the way

another question,, the box keeps rebooting due to a problem,, is there a log file save , like an event log/dump rep on the box?

This all sounds like the original 'buggy' EPG setup from the first August release of C11.3, Dave. Including the random reboots, where EPG has gobbled up all the available memory!

Have you not manually upgraded to C11.3.09 yet? AL

sorry man,, i forgot all about this post :-O yea i upgraded to .9 and it still reboots im gunna get version 10 and manually upgrade soon which file do i need to to 9 to 10 ? Commando11-3-10-upgrade.rar or update-C11-3-10.rar ? Im guessing update-C11-3-10.rar ?

Just go straight to 11.3
you dont need to do it in stages

This is all explained in the readme files, m8! So get 11.3 on and working, then wait a bit...

Flashed my box a few times and only fta even with magic chmod'ed to 755.

Yes so make a backup of keys roms service files and FTP them to the new image

EDIT: Just read your only getting FTA you sure your putting them in the right folders etc ?

i dont have working ones anymore, but assumed the magic files should correct that.

EDIT:

They are in folders

/lib = 1 file (CHMOD 755)
/var/bin/emu = 2 files (CHMOD to 755)
/var/keys = various files uploaded here, not CHMOD'ed
