Seemed reflashing via IFA solved the problem!

EDIT:

On a mac, can i share folders so i can view movies on the dbox from my PC and also watch dbox on my mac!

just one thing, when you said

press Blue > Blue > Image Add-Ons / Updates > Yellow > Red

I press Blue, Blue, then i cant find Image add-ons / updates, only see Image Add-Ons.

Does this mean my version is really old? or did i miss something.

ps. my image is 11.310 from mercs

I don't if you ever answered the question to wether there is an event log on the box? Cheers again

That's strange- coz I've just downloaded and reflashed with the same image from Santa, and I see these menus no problem! Are you sure you're on 11.3.10 and not the original 11.3 release on the mercs site?

As downloaded, I see the Image Add-Ons / Updates menu under a yellow button after hitting the Blue > Blue > buttons. We couldn't give a colour for this item in the instructions, because if a user has uninstalled 'Set my Location', then the 'Add-Ons / Updates' menu shifts up under the green button.

When I go into that menu- there at the bottom is Image Updates under a yellow button!

Try the new System Information menu, m8. blue > dbox > yellow > green(Boot Messages) might give you some clues as to why your box is spitting it's dummy out. As for logging this info , I'm not sure. LraiZer would be the best guy to advise on that sort of thing...

But I think the new EPG setup will sort you out!

Snap! So the Image Update menu you want is definately in there, unless you've deleted summat you shouldn't have in /var/tuxbox/config ??

Could you confirm if thers a guide for streaming from the box over the web? or on a mac osx?
