Commando 11.3.07 - a tasty Upgrade!!

I suggest you backup your services and bouquets (plus certain, cough, 'other' files), then reflash with the latest Commando 12 Image. Ensure you use the correct 1x or 2x format for your box!

From the C12 Add-Ons pack included with the image, extract xfs.tar.bz2 and FTP that file 'as is' to the /tmp folder.

Go to the Add-Ons > Modules menu and install XFS HDD File System (584kb)

You will then see LraiZer's new IDE-HDD Menu in the System Menu.

Tried to flash version 12 last night but did not have much time, seemed it would not flash but will try again Sunday, as I am back home in Manchester, Thanks for the advice.

OK flashed commando 12, and FTP'd the backup of the other files re-booted and now have only FTA channels?? HDD menue is now visible as you advised thanks for the info.

Frustrated that the FTA channels are all I get though, left box on SS1 FOR OVER AN HOUR nothing?????

hello, im a noob, just managed to ftp commando 11.3 to my dbox, went through the flashing process and after my dbox restarted it just hangs on the commando boot screen and then restarts itself eventually, can anyone help!!! please pm me!

@any-mgzt: Did we forget to chmod 755 our cam in /var/bin/emu by any chance? And/or to restart it in blue > dbox > red ?

WHY don't people follow the golden rule of reflashing ANY image with ANY other image? ALWAYS reboot the box first!!!

I got this Dbox, power it up & do a scan, at the end of the scan I got 259 channels.
I selected a movie ch, & it said "Error channel not available".
When the box boot-up it said, commando 11.

I am finding the C12 is a little unstable, maybe my settings but it drops channels intermittently. It aslo in my install, showed the HDD for around an hour, then it will no longer mount it (may be drive i am not sure), said it could not record, but I found 30s of recorded movie, before it refused to mout the drive again.

I am going to try a clean install of C11.3 and see if that is any better, it may be my box, or set up.

Playback stops when recording

Commando 11.3 missing channels

Im new to this site, so would appreciate any help.
Using the Commando 11.3 2x image. Generally very good but i have a problem - on scanning it doesnt pick up all the channels available in my area, notably Eurosport 2. I have used Laky image in the past and didnt have this issue. can anyone advise what (if anything) I can do.

Also, can anyone point me to a refresher on adding keys via ftp. its been a while and ive forgotten.
