Back your services and bouquets files to your pc then ftp them back after flashing
you need to check how many flash chips it has 1x or 2x use this
Digital Kaos - Downloads - Check Flash Type
Then flash the right image to your box
1x here

2x here
Digital Kaos - Downloads - Lincsat Beta7.25-FTA 2x
then ftp the magic files over
the gbox function is in the blue button menu.

right ive installed the image but im having alot of problems:

1. i dont have a lcue what to do
2. ftp wont let me transfer any magic file (keeps saying failed)
3. can someone please post clear step by step instruction on what to do ?

Did it let you ftp the bouquets and services.xml files ok
You do not ftp the folders to the box you ftp the files to the relevent folders on the box.

yeah teh s and b where fine but the files did not go acros, tomorrow hoepfully when i get back form work i will re flash it and try again but shall i overright all the magic files and 755 the evocamd. Also you mentioned the advanced menu by pressing the blue button which menu shall i go into and what do i select. Sorry about this Fergal its doing my nut in !

Yes re flash it and ftp the files back over and chmodd 755 evocamd and gbox
in the blue button menu look for emu selection or key copy options.

Lakys does not have the gbox swap function in it.

do you know of any other images in the download section that have it apart from the one you gave me because for some reason it will not allow me to tranfer the files over as it keeps saying transfer failed

You sure you are actually connecting to the box ok what did you flash the 2x or the 1x image?

i flashed it with the x1 which the box supports but when i tried copying the magic files over it just would not let me

Well i have just done it in minutes what ftp program are you using?
are you actually getting connected to the box?
you have changed the ip to be one above your pc network card ip then restarted network as the ip is different to the one in the image you had on previously.

im using flash fxp but i thinks its an old one, i can flash files into the temp folder but not any other ones.

Thats what i used try re downloading the image and flash it again and see if you can transfer them then
