You are right clicking on the file and choosing transfer just 1 file not a folder
try just transfering evocamd into bin/emu
set your network card to 10baseT_halfduplex

I would start again m8, Flash the same image as you will now be familiar with the file structure and reflashing will rectify a read only issue.
Do not scan just set up the network settings and confirm you can connect to the dbox with flashxp.
Once you are connected confirm to us the file structure you see i.e do you have var/bin/emu and var/keys and do you have a lib folder?

On the Lincsat image the camds go in bin/emu not var/bin/emu and there is no need to put anything in the lib folder m8

Not familiar with the image Fergal, which is why I asked him to confirm structure before saying were to put files m8.
Just seems like he's been at it a while and maybe slowing down and getting a bit more info might help

thanks alot for your info but i reflashed it after i got the magic files in but could not put in the s and b's. but theres just a black screen and the led shows nothing just stays green now. Il give it one more try tomorrow if i can reflash it, if not im gonna post a video of me blowing up the dbox on youtube. cheers
