Manual Update to version 12.1.2 - 01 March 2010

Fixes:

1) New zapit by Cydine and LraiZer; Fast or BruteForce Scan with VM-style Bouquets now fully compatible with the new Channel Map being introduced UK-wide. (Still works correctly in areas not updated yet, don't worry).

2) Revised cables.xml to grab some missing pr0n channels. (thanks to AlcoholJunkie for the heads-up on this issue)

Instructions- the simplest EVER, included in a readme. This manual update is for you guys who cannot, or will not, connect your C12 dbox to the web. For those who have- just click on 'Online Updates' in the System Menus, and hit the red button!

The updates are compatible for both 1x and 2x boxes. But they are for Commando 12 only, and NOT for peeps still running C11.3.11 or earlier!! Reflash with Commando 12 please, then update...

Hi, nice image, i have one of the sagems so need to use gbox, seeing as this image is a bit different is gbox still compatible with it?

Just installed the image and the addons it is working fine, epg and everything that goes with it no glitches so far...

One question though anyone know what channel the box office is on? looked through all the channels and cant find it...

CHeers AL Which files/folders/locations would you suggest backing up from latest 11 image to make a smooth upgrade to 12 ?
services, bouquets, magic files/cams(not that i ever use em ), zapit configs ?

Hi guys, i've just put this new image on my box and I only seem to be getting FTA channels - I have put the "real_magic" files on the box, but is there anything else i'm missing? When I go to an encrypted channel all I get is a black screen and a key image appears on the epg.

Maybe I should also say that virmin recently sent me through a new "smart card"... does this mean no more free tv? thanks guys.

Just to update, i've tried changing the ucodes and activating cams (I think!) maybe virmin have upgraded to n3 with sending me a new card??

guys needing a bit of help trying to get dbox working son deleted all channels other day through scanning just wondering if anyone out there could help

I've just updated, went smoothly other than I had to put the .img file in the c: root of Windows 7 x64 but thats not an image issue.
Maybe 1 bug or setting I found. I have a hidden boquet named "dead" for all channels that don't work etc so they don't come back on rescanning. This is the last bouqet but when on "Terrestrial" and I click up it goes to the hidden "dead" boquet channels which 11 and prior never did. Is this a bug or a feature I can set to stop it ? The boquet doesnt show when view channel list just when going up from BBC1.

Sorry but quite new to this, got commando 12 flashed on to dbox2 and all fta channels are fine but just gettig a black screen on most others. It is reading whats on in epg but no pic etc. Do I need to put in any add ons or other settings?

You need to add the "magic files" from here: Tools

You will need to ftp the files in the folders to the corresponding folders on your dbox (use flashfxp to do this) you can ignore the lib folder as the file in there is already present in your image. Once transferred you will need to chmod the files in the emu folder to 755 to do this right click on the file (dbox side right hand window in flashfxp) and in the window that pops up change the value to 755 and click ok.
Once you have done this go to skysports and wait for the channel to clear(should only take a minute or 2).
If nothing happens press blue button on remote then dbox and ensure evocam is active and restart it, then exit the menus and go back to skysports and wait for the channel to clear.
