Not on all images you dont some images you only press blue once and we did not know what image he had flashed on.

i had a german image on it when i got it, zebradem or something if that helps

The setmylocation feature should set the symbolrate automatically m8
check in the scan menu that your details match these

you have to go to manual scan settings not set my location. wigan is 6952, a telepest area.thought you already was on that sym rate though

scan for services - tv & radio
bouquet - make a new vm set
cable provider - cableuk
scan mode - fast scan
network id - 40967
frequency - 531000
symbol rate - 6952

Cant understand why it wont do a fast scan that looks correct try turning fast scan off then red to save and do a slow scan when its finished Dont save just press home repeatedly to get out of all the menus and see if you can change to a channel.

i only have choice of fast scan and uk brute force, i can get transponders with uk brute force but still nothing on screen!

I would be inclinded to flash a different image on see if that sorts it.

Try this one once flashed do the setmylocation then try a fast scan if it works and you get fta channels you will need to ftp the real magic files in to get the rest working.

Is your feed live does your vm box work ok if you have it on a splitter take it off and plug the feed from the wall straight to the box.

this is a funny one!!! should at least get your fta channels,is the box a nokia/sagem?

i would say flash with commando 11.3,and run a scan to see if you get fta.
then if you get fta,ftp the magic files to the correct folders and make sure you chmod the emus to 755,dont forget to save on the way out ? then set location and fast scan..

right ok, i took the box downstairs, connected it up from where the main tv is and vm box(living room), did a force scan, and got lots of channels, took it back upstairs and just not getting a signal through, the cable im using for upstairs connects to a splitter in another room downstairs (pc room), so it must either be the splitter or cable, but im thinking the splitters ok because I have my internet feed from it also and im gettin the internet.... my cable from downstairs to upstairs is very long, purely to test, would a really long cable result in getting no channels? or do you think theres just physically something wrong with the cable?

also i managed to view the free channels but others I cannot get, do i need keys or something?
