Commando 12.1.2 only FTA

I've flashed and updated to Commando 12.1.2 ftp magic files chmod to 755..gone into softcam selected evocamd restarted the camd went to skysports waited but still only FTA.

Any ideas please?

have you used the magic files from here? Tools

I suspect maybe you put files in wrong place /check that the emus are in the emu folder m8 --recheck chmod and make sure you save on way out

did you scan for channels/set location etc...

Emus must be in the right folder, or he wouldn't see them in the Softcam Menu. If more than one cam is in there, ensure only ONE is switched ON at any time- never two or more!!

Also check that /var/keys/nagrarom7.bin is the fixed 28 Nov 09 version found in the Real Magic suite.

Hi thanks for that. I've checked the file and its dated Dec08 which was downloaded from the tools link in Smoggies post.

Where do I find the Real Magic files please. Thanks once again to those who have kindly posted.

I've checked the location is var/bin/emu for evocamd.
Regarding chmod I've used flashfxp and highlighted the files which need chmodding and there is an option to view/change attributes(chmod) which I've done and they say 755 where needed.

The only thing is that the nagrarom7.bin file downloaded from the place suggested was generated in Dec08 not Nov 09.

I've also set location and done a brute force scan (auto scan off)

Please has anyone got any further suggestions.

Sorry lads- my bad- a typo has got you all looking for a non-existant file, LOL!

The last keyroll method change was on 25 November 2008. Cydine fixed nagrarom7.bin and graciously shared the fix on 28 Nov 2008. The correct file IS in the Real Magic pack, dated 16 Dec 2008.

Many thanks to all for these posts, now just gotta work out how to do the fixes (not easy for an old fart like me but I'll give it a bloody good try). Thanks to all the files fixes etc in tools. You guys are a huge help to a technophobe like me but I get a kick out of beating the system and getting "free TV".
