    Signal Breakup

First of all I'd like to say a big thank you to those who helped in the crisis a few weeks back, it was massive relief.
Secondly again Iam after any helpfull suggestions, I have a eurovox max v 2008 box and it seems that since the channel roll my signal has got really bad.
The confusing thing is sometimes it tends to be ok but is generally unwatchable.
I currently have a feed going through a splitter for internet access along with my telly feed.
    Any ideas?
    Many kind regards
    Kaiser

i did the same as u ive 2 boxes the maxv which breaks up & the max blue which is a older model works fine u could try a signal booster or an attenuator if ur signal is 2 strong.

my internet interferes with my tv reception. it affects the vm box to varying degrees but totally wipes out my eurovox. the only splitter is theirs in the box outside. i've tried a signal booster which gave me a few more channels but did nothing to improve the situation.

don't know if you're having the same problem, but i have failed to find a resolution so far. it has been suggested that i change cables etc, but it's not quite that straight forward.

            best of luck,

            Steve.

it depends on your signal strength if ut is 2 low try a cable signal booster fom argos or a 12 db attenuator from b&q or maiplins ok & let us know how u get on ok.

all the problems seem 2 be with eurovox max v 2008 models & if ur in a poor signal area they r not as reliable 2 pick up all the channels like the older models i think the people who made the newer models have used inferior equipment ,my personal opinion.

Thought I would include my problems :
Had a Max V 2008 black working perfect on a direct feed from outside (original box replaced).
Perfect picture for months, then when the code wouldnt update, I had to flash with new firmware.
Now, most channels break up every other day making it unwatchable.
Now, the fact this box worked perfect for 6 hours plus a day for months on end right up till the firmware was changed makes me understandably suspicious of what is going on - when the picture on Sky Sports was unwatchable, i immediately swapped boxes with my old Eurovox 2 - and the picture was perfect. Put the Max V back, and it broke up, so, if anyone has any suggestions or theories Id love to hear them

I am sorry I don't agree. I have a Eurovox PVR EX5000 I am still having the problem of signal breakup.

I have had a splitter connected to TV and Router. I thought it was due to that. Unhooked the two way splitter and now I got the straight connection from one splitter in TV (router disconnected) still having the same problem. I may want to do a scan again, don't believe this will work.

                      Any suggestions. ! ? ! Cheers !

The All4One booster is a tv signal booster with tv aerial connections - not F type cable connectors.
