    Eurovox stuck on standby!

    Hi, I've encountered a little problem when trying to flash my Eurovox.
    The first problem is that I wasn't sure whether or not it's a eurovox 1 or 2 (it's silver and I assumed it was a 2 because it had 2 scarts?). So I flashed it with the version 2 firmware, and everything went just as in the instructions until I got a "download failed" message right at the end.
    Now all i have on the box are the - - - - and the box is on standby.
    I've connected it back up to the TV etc but it won't turn on - just the standby.
    I connected it back up to the PC to try the flash again but I keep getting the "program is not responding" message.
    I've now realised that I should really have done a factory reset before starting - but can't do one now cos I can't get it to turn on!
    Has anyone got any ideas before I get lynched by the rest of the family?

      i had the same problem all you do is take the box lid of and on the board there is alittle reset button might take you a while to find it did me,when you have got the correct download for your box keep pressing the rest button keep it down for a couple of seconds then release keep doing that and it will eventually start the download you should see waiting for the response of your reciever keep looking at your computer to see if its sending then just leave it should be ok after that..
