Hi I am new to Digital Kaos,I am waiting for my new Ex5100 to arrive in the next few days,looking at your posts it looks straight forward to flash the Ex5100 let you know how I get on.If I need to do anything els please let me know.

if the encryption has gone to n3 no amount of firmware will make any difference your box will be useless and there is no fix.

hi all really just started with all this and have read lots about it all but still feeling a little lost by it all !!! i plugged my ex5100 in and did a power scan but i have not done the firmware update do i now need to reset the box once ido the update ? thanks for anyones help

HI I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MY EUROVOX 5100PVR, I HAVE HAD IT RUNNING FOR A YEAR HAVING TO TO DO SEVERAL DEEP SCANS TO UPDATE CHANNELS BUT I LOST A LOT OF CHANNELS [SKY MOVIES] ESPECIALLY I TRIED TWICE TO DEP SCAN BUT NO JOY ANY ONE GOT ANY IDEA WHATS WRONG.

nagra3 encryption no fix or update will help your box.

Hi m8, sounds like the beginning of nagra 3 in your area.
Has your area/town received new cards from VM?
If you have than within 2/4 weeks most of the channels if not all will be lost.
There is no fix for nagra3 encryption.

(...and using CAPS will not fix the problem either)
