Hi All,
I received my Eurovox 5100 receiver from lincsat today which came with the latest firmware already installed. I plugged it in and made sure all the wires were in the correct places. I initially ran a fast scan using the correct symbol rate for my area (Surrey). Now I did notice that the red bar at the bottom of the screen that said signal quality is 8% it dosen't flutate just says 8% all the time??? I read a couple of posts regarding problems with the euromax V that had a problem with the signal stuck at 8% could the same thing be happening with my 5100?
I tried a power scan as well using the sticky and still have not managed to get any channels...
My virgin box received broadcasts perfectly before so I cannot understand what is happening with this receiver?
Any advise would be greatly appreciated!
p.s. I havent got the null modem cable yet as only ordered it off ebay yesterday
