You should be able to flash it anyway mate.
Sometimes a slow gradual approach does more good than a large gesture.

You have probably done this already mate so I apologise in advance but have you tested coms 1-4 on the ufl? The box is in stanby too right?

Not to sure about the reset button inside the box but I presume you will, HiTeck will know but my guess is yes you will mate (don't hold me to it)

There is a reset button, a small black one, in the middle of the board, push it down for a few seconds then let go and watch the front panel Yes you will loose channels after factory reset, i've done it by mistake.

You need to upload your CDF from your eurovox to your PC then you will have a back up of your saved channels as they are now.

With regards to your problem with flashing your box, do you have XP or Vista, are you using a USB adapter (I bet you are), you need to assign your com/ports correctly and install the driver for the USB adapter, also make sure your OS is up to date with all the necessary drivers before going any further, if all fails can you get to a PC with XP and a 9 pin Serial socket so you dont have to use the USB adapter.

Its worth a try, you could also try this This.

I have seen people in the past saying when all else fails and I haven't tried this myself so its only "say so" to warm the serial socket up with a hair dryer before flashing. Dont laugh but it has apparently worked for others although i'm still to be convinced.

Still no luck. Did the jtag again, came up ok but still can't get the ufl to detect it. Will try the hairdryer thing when I get a chance. Thanks again.
