Looks like someone has grassed you up. As said however many people have received this letter even people without boxes and it looks like a mailshot in some areas.

                  Darkness,
Maybe if you just have the broadband package and you are disconnecting your modem to plug in your box, VM are just suspecting that you have a box due to the fact that they are not recieving talkback from your modem? Im not sure about this but is a theory. Someone correct me if i'm wrong about this.

Looks like someone has grassed you mate as satsmo said, I have just the BB package but they gave me a box with it with no premium channels just the bog standard, I've connected my ev to where their box used to be and never had any issues.

Under data protection act and civil liberties no company can send out letters of legal intent (or mentioning legal intent ) to anybody throught Phone or mail services without grounds (This can only be mentioned after a face to face meating where facts have been outlined to the recipitant), In these letters it states in your household this is directed to you the home owner, continuing down the document repeted comments outlining what you the home owner is doing as ileagal. (There is no mention that they could be wrong).

I do not believe these letters are been sent out to everyone without grounds and If so it highly unproffesional and I am sure innocent people would take great offence to any asspursions cast on there nature.

The final possability is these letters are coming from a out sourced company that Virmen have contracted to do there dirty work, as I think Virmen know the legal ramifications of such actions that could be taken from consumer watchdog groups from such unsolicited form of corraspondance.

                              Regards:

The letters are not based on any legal act or document but pertaining to VM's terms and conditions.

Some have been sent after been informed on by others, (hence my term grassed earlier). Others are because of a confiscated customer database from earlier supplier raids.

And as said ,even people who have bought standard DVB T FTA STBs have also received these letters. Whether that's grounds to come to some conclusion that fleabay are involved well that's left up to peoples imagination.

There is no legal argument whatsoever read these letters and there is no legal summary. They could use a legal loop hole, but it would prove quite difficult.

This has already been discussed months ago after the first wave of letters and what has come from those?
