No need 2 "swear or get da guy". We're here 2 share ideas. If yo realy hav a eurovox max V, flash it(use a correct up2date firmware). Make sure yo'r cable is linked properly from da vm source. Clear data & do a full scan using F Default. Let me know wat yo got there after!.

I swear this is the last question I ask as I'm beyond caring about this box business!!

The problem appears to be a low strength, low quality signal which means its not picking up any channels so would that be associated with the wiring of my cable connection in my house? If it is I can get the guy who did it back round to do a proper job!

have u got a splitter on the cable? if yes try plugging the cable directly into the box if not a signal booster may be the answer

I have reflashed the box once again and it deffinately still doesn't work so I am now certain that it is more of a hadware problem... I think I should probably stop doing stuff until somebody who knows better takes a look at it!

Can anyone tell me how to get rid of this error on 2 of my friends eurovox boxes (656E). thanks
