Eurovox 5100 pvr set up

hi - Im running January 09 software on my ex5100. Is this the latest software available?. I have just reflashed and have picked up ESPN America but still cant get BBC 3 etc back up. Anyone have any ideas??

YES your softwa*e is up to date. U dont need to re-flash everytime u do a scan.
If u have missing channels, u should do a clear date/factory reset and then a deep scan. This will pick up all the available channels in your area.

Thanks for that - ive been doing a clear and deep scan but still not all the channels have returned (May have to invest in a booster).

Another question does anyone seem to be picking up ESPN classic and the Real Madrid channels (as on SKY) - just with the footy season still some way off could do with watching the odd pre season game?

Are u scanning from direct freed, without and splitters?

Picked a few more channels up using deep scan - BBC3 for example. will go direct from the feed tomorrow and see if I get any more channels. Thanks for your help.

YES m8, if u r in UK. Make sure u have the latest softwa*e on your box and then do a scan using the correct symbol rate for your area and u will get all the available channels.

on the eurovox 5100 i cant seem to turn thr subtitles on i click the text button and the select the language of the subs but no subtitles, also press the yelloow button but nothing even though it states on the channel it has subtitles, what do i do?

hi im new 2 all this but i just got a hd 4 my eurovox 5100 but cant get it 2 work. keeps sayin "hard drive full or not instorled" u can hire the hd spinin wen u tern on the box but it wont recored anything, any1 no wot's wrong? it's driving me mad. chears

I have a mate who bought 5100 pvr, can I use the same firmware for 5000 or should I use the 5100 pvr?

its says scrambled channels on all my channels apart from bbc 1234 and news and also hav channels 3 4 and 5 any help
