From experiance you may be having a little optimistic thinking...
n3 is no easy fix,,, you may think yeh uk has looads o boxes,
But common mate,,, how many boxes in Germany , Spain and Portugal do you think there are?, ( please remember Germany the home of dreambox,,,,,, spain the home of taquilaa, and portugal the home of Cabo )...
If the cards could bu unloooper or glitched by an amatuer it would have been done in one these countrys long ago.
And,,, to really sound depressing, there all still black some more than a year later.

Nag3 is different, there are 2 keys or CW's included in the ECM to the receiver. One goes to the card and the other goes to the receiver itself.


N3 cards are no more secure then N1 or N2. It's the way N3 works, that make far superior than either N1 or N2. So while N3 cards are "worked around" and you can get a dump of the CW's and ECM's you only have half of the equations because you have to be able to process the receivers CW's. Here is the problem running emulation files,,

I live in Dublin and my eurovox has lost all sports and movies so far and eventully will lose everything when NAG3 fully breaks in.
A question,My relatives who also live in dublin have NTL box's which is chip or the card is chip and they havent lost any channel as of yet.Would this box still be okay because they are using a card ?

just a thought if ireland cable works exactly the same as uk cable the code breakers will have something to work on, thoughts any one ?

No because N3 coded Rom will be different for each provider, so for N.Ireland Republic of Ireland & the UK providers could end up using several different Roms, thats why its going to take a long time to open (if ever) Nds use this method by using different versions of Rom with each provider, if one has a security risk they just swop it around and a hacking community has to start all over again !

We are not going to be given N3 handed to us on a plate like N2, that was commericialy lead by MR. Murdoch to undermine Nagravision standing in the world of Encryption, at the moment N3 is as good if not better than NDS by all reports so hand on heart I dont think we will see this one hacked not for a long time.

Also to note N4 is been developed already and is to used card pairing with selected receivers just like NDS use all the information can be found on the Nagravision website, so in a year or two we could be talking about N4 been an issue, so Nagravision are well ahead of the Game this time....

As long as they are paying a basic subscription and the receiver is chiped with in the correct way its totaly possable that it could continue to work, as I have said in the past Cable is on a closed network as long as you have a basic subscription there are always ways of opening all the channels on the receiver as long as the codes are been sent to your set top box fom the provider the main processor of the receiver can tricked into thinking its open for all channels...

Ps:
If its the card thats been altered its unlikely to last very long .... But if the receiver has been modified or chiped it could continue to function. Let us know how it get on over the next few weeks....
