    EX5000 - Red Standby light only

    Hi,

    Having a problem with my ex5000, most similar posts don't seem to have the answer.

    I'm having the problem since flashing to:

    UFL_EX5000PVR_24-02-09_DarX.exe

    Box came on, rebooted itself and went blank. Tried rebooting again and now all I have is the standby light and it doesn't respond to anything.

    I do not have a hard drive installed. Any ideas greatly appreciated.

      its looking very likely the the 28/o2 firmware is a clone killer

          Maybe I'm wrong but as far as I can tell its not a clone. But even if its not a clone you reckon its done?

              Hi Folks,

              I also am having this same problem !!!

              What the hell is going on ???

              Looks like that latest software is V naughty so beware to all as I think that it can do serious damage...

              I have tried everything from rs232 serial to USB connections. It will detect the EX5000 as I keep getting "waiting for the response of your receiver".

              Can anybody out there solve this issue ?
