Eurovox Max V

Hello

I have a Eurovox Max v Box and some channels like E4, Film four, Sony Tv, ITV 2, ITV 3 and other channels are not working, i have been reading threads and many people got there channels back by doing a quick scan, can someone please guide me and give me the instructions on how to do a quick scan and tell me how long the process takes, and is there any risk that while scanning the channels may disappear or there is nothing like that? and what is custom scan or power scan which one do i do?

becoz i dont know what menu settin to go
on in order to do this so if you would tell me

can i jus ask wot the symbol rate is,
am in the east side and i use NTL so is that 5401 for mee?

and how do i find out if my cable feed is plugged into
my your "RF IN" and not the ANT socket.
This is the first time i am doing it
soo i am not soo aware how it works... cud u advise and suggest plz

how long will the scanning tke
and is der any risk of losin any or all channels
whilst doing this?

do i have to factory default first and den move to power scan
or can i jus to power scan alone?

i jus did the scan
and its still on, but the eurovox box seys 0000
on the screen and also at the scan process right now
theres no channels... am i doing it the right way
i havent got rid of the channels hav i :O :| :$

Btw the scan has finished now
but all the channels are blank
and seys "code is being updated"
what do i do? why ent it wrking?
can i jus get the keys from keymaster
and put it in manualli wit that work

put it on sky 1 and wait for it to open failing that do a deep scan
