EX7000 HD-No Channels

Hi all,im a newbie here and it seems im having a wee bit of bother with my new EX7000

Followed the instructions that came with the box,flashed the latest firmware that i got from here and had no problems with it,i have my box hooked up to a pure source

but everytime i try and do a quick scan or a deep scan it never finds any channels at all??

Any ideas?

are you scanning rite freq for your area

Got the code lists from the Eurovox guide and have scanned on both 6.887 and 6.952

which are the 2 listed for Glasgow

Before u scan for channels do a clear date/factory reset.

this may seam daft but have you got the feed in the RF in you would be amazed at how many people put it in the loop out if its ok have you got another box you can try on the same feed *** ps 6.887 is the correct sr for pure glasgow

Have resetted it to the factory settings 3 times now

and it is still comming up with nothing,not even the free view channels

only other box i have is the standard V+ one that virgin installed

whats the correct Frequency and Modulation for Glasgow??

the freq is 643,000 or 755,000 mod 64qum do you get any channels on the v+ 1 go to user installation and see if you have any transponders

Soz its just a standard Vbox that i have,and yes that is still picking up all the channels that it was before

ok go to full power scan ,start at 339mhz ,stop at 755mhz set the symbol rate to 6.887 then press the blue btn to scan i had to do mine a few times when i first got it

Just done my first scan with it set up exactly as you described and its still not came up with any channels

when its finished i have a wee bar that keeps jumping from 10% to 48%

Is this it still scanning-and i should leave it or should i press the blue button again for a fresh scan??

what firmware have you flashed it with the latest 1 is 12/03/09 you can get it from downloads

b4 you do a scan have you done as badapple has said and done a factory reset

done a factory reset and started another scan with the settings you said before

still nothing is comming up

are you sure your feed is live have you tried it in your other box if you have a splitter on it take it off and try it direct
