ESPN Problems

I know there are now a few threads relating to ESPN issues, but none have answered my question so far, so if you dont mind i have started a new one.

I have manual scanned, power scanned and deep scanned with my Eurovox Max V and have found several new channels (mainly HD versions) but the channel i want is not there. I would really like to view ESPN for the start of the footy season if possible.

I have ESPN HD (which i cant view on the max V) and ESPN America which i have had for ages anyway. Does anyone know the channel frequency to search on for ESPN and ESPN Classic etc, using Telepest (now V***n M****a) area 5a 01 using the Max V, and is anyone else having the same problems?

I have a Max v & am in the 5a 01 area(Bristol). Espn & Espn Classic are on frequency 675.000. Go to user installation,scroll through the frequency list to see if you have it. If you do,then just perform a manual scan. If not,you can add the frequency yourself & then scan.

Sorry dude 675.000 didnt find anything at all i did have to enter manually but nothing found i'm afraid.....anyone else?

West mids area 5A 01 if possible?

I'm sure the new Espn channels are on the same frequency that Setanta Sports 1 & 2 were broadcasting on. That is certainly the case where i live.

Are you using a splitter mate try doin a search without the splitter if you are

Thanks again, i tried re-scanning the old Setanta frequency yesterday while it was still showing as Setanta in the EPG but nothing came of it, thats why i deep scanned today, i really dont know why its not showing, hardly anyone else is having a problem, just poor old me again .

Aren't they going to be showing the live games on the ESPN America channel when the season starts. That is my understanding, there isn't any other ESPN channel to find is there?

Have a look at your channel list to see if you have Celtic tv & Rangers tv. In some areas Espn & Espn Classic are on there.

@ CJG, There are 3 new ESPN channels to be broadcast alongside not instead of ESPN America, they are ESPN(UK) that will be showing the Premier league football next season, a HD version of the above and ESPN classic, all showing programmes different to ESPN America........ do a scan mate, you are gonna miss the footy!!

@ Los Verdi, did have Celtic TV yesterday, but again i had heard that suggestion so scanned that freq, tried but same results, now after a deep scan Celtic has disappeared aswell.

Cheers all have done a re scan, Rangers, Celtic and all the old Setanta have disapeared, managed to locate ESPN Classic & ESPN (currently showing Dutch football - Ajax?) and already have ESPN America, so should be sorted now.

I know you said you have scanned etc....I have both a Max and an EX5000 all I did was update the channels (on Max hit red button autoscan) I then went to Channel Manager and sifted through and they were both there. I'm on V****N and in the West Midlands area.

It might just be me then, bloody typical (only joking).
I have done deep...manual....auto.....power, and user defined (single frequency) scans, i have updated every frequency and every channel atleast twice and all i can find is the HD version of the one i want, which of course i cant watch untill i get a HD eurovox. Its a shame and i will keep trying, as i say it might just be me (again).
